We (Dave & Sally) fell in love with Fairview in the summer of 2005 and completed the purchase by the October of the same year! It was at the time a successful five star holiday let and we did seriously contemplate turning it back in to a private apartment for ourselves! We decided against this idea but agreed that we would use it ourselves, when we need to get away! In doing this we can still see what our guests see and continually improve things with the apartment.
We have enjoyed running Fairview so much that we decided to purchase number 4 Borrans Park in November 2007. This was a private residence at the time, which was in need of refurbishment. We have now totally refurbished and converted "Wansfell" into a five star luxury holiday let, with that little bit extra!

After a great deal of consideration we decided to put both our apartments up for
sale. Recently we have been looking to invest in other business opportunities within
the Lake District and the sale of these two properties will be the start of our new
journey.
Despite the current trends in the property market we very quickly found buyers
for both apartments. It was our hope that both apartments would continue as holiday
lets, but unfortunately the buyer of Fairview has decided to retain it for personal
use. However, Wansfell is remaining as a holiday let and the new owners web site
